In the years around 1978, I periodically spent several hours in the summer months making MUSIC BOXES in the home of my former teacher, Katherine Beard. These were to be used by her students that Fall. Each BOX took at least four hours to make with cutting, taping, drawing and assembling. At the time I suggested to my beloved teacher that the MUSIC BOXES be mass produced. Her reply was a simple smile and saying she couldn't afford it.

Finally, more than twenty years later, with the blessing of her family (Katherine had passed away in 1990), I began Lisa's Music Box. My belief in the ability of this wonderful hands-on tool to easily bring the joy of music to students is my passion. It is my pleasure to offer you THE MUSIC BOX!
